The group Mycobacterium Tuberculosis explores the aspects of the historical record and collective memory through the contemporary experience. Using the methodology of the archive and interview, they are working on creating a new audiovisual file that moves between the limits of memory, the contradictions of the historical narrative and the reality.
This experimental archive explores history through multilateral dialogue and stories of people who have worked and are working in the Sotiria(Salvation) Hospital. "Sotiria" hospital was the first public sanatorium in Greece (1903) and functioned as a place of - voluntary or involuntary - confinement for patients suffering of tuberculosis.
During the German Occupation was a place for executions of resistance fighters and prisoners' escapes.
